Fulham are confident of signing Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri after agreeing a fee with his club. The 26-year-old has applied for a work visa and is expected to join up with Slavisa Jokanovic’s side for £18million despite interest from Sevilla, West Ham and Chelsea.
Work is still to be done however on the deal, with the club wary that rivals could offer the player a better deal. There is an awareness that other clubs, such as Chelsea, may be held up in their transfer dealings. The Blues are yet to make any movements in the transfer market, as they continue to deal with their managerial situation.
Antonio Conte is soon expected to depart the club, with Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri set to take over at the Stamford Bridge helm. Fulham are also working on deal for Aleksandar Mitrovic and Sweden international Ludwig Augustinsson from Werder Bremen.
