Liverpool given update on potential Dybala transfer

Paulo Dybala is almost certain to stay at Juventus this summer, ruling out Liverpool FC’s hopes of signing him, according to reports in the Italian media.

Italian newspaper Il Giornale, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Argentine is set to stay on at Juventus despite the Serie A club closing in on the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

Liverpool FC have been linked with a move to sign the quality Argentine attacker in recent days amid reports that Juve are set to land Ronaldo this summer.

Indeed, the same report says that Liverpool FC have made contact with Juventus officials about the possibility of signing the 24-year-old in recent days.

But the Merseyside outfit look set to be disappointed in their reported pursuit of Dybala this summer as the Italian club are planning to build their team around the Argentina international in the next few seasons.
