German powerhouse enter race For Zaha

German giants Borussia Dortmund are ready to table a huge bid for Crystal Palace’s in-demand forward Wilfried Zaha. Dortmund have emerged as candidates to sign Zaha this summer and have been given encouragement they could land the Ivory Coast international after he rejected Palace’s latest new contract offer. It seems BVB are selling Andriy Yarmolenko to West Ham and will want a replacement – with Zaha identified as their top target after an impressive season in the Premier League saw him score nine goals in 29 appearances in 2017-18.

The Eagles will do everything they can to keep hold of the 25-year-old but fear they will have no choice but to accept a big-money offer if he’s unwilling to sign a new deal at Selhurst Park that would have made him the club’s biggest-ever earner. Zaha has also been targeted by Tottenham, Chelsea and Everton and is under contract with Palace until 2022. It’s thought the club value him in the £65million bracket and are unlikely to sell this summer for anything less than that figure such is his importance to Roy Hodgson’s side and the level of interest in him.
