This Superstar Is Extremely Thrilled After England’s Victory

Legendary British actor Sir Michael Caine enjoyed England’s win against Sweden in the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Saturday.

The actor sent a tweet to congratulate the boys, saying: “Fabulous Victory Guys! Now Blow the Bloody Doors Off on Wednesday.”

He was referring to England’s semi-final clash against Croatia at Saint Petersburg. This will be their first semis since 1990.

Twitterati erupted on Saturday after England’s 2-0 win over Sweden in Samara and everyone had only one thing to say: “It’s coming home. Football is coming home.”

As soon as the final whistle was blown, fans all around the world put out messages on social media – “it’s coming home.”

Kyle Walker, Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch and even Prince William, all posted congratulatory messages for England on Twitter. The likes of Rio Ferdinand, Alan Shearer, Gary Linekar followed suit and shared videos of English fans taking to the streets back home to celebrate the Three Lions’ surprising run in this year’s World Cup.
