England are “Absolutely Good Enough” to win the World Cup, Claims Sweden Boss

Sweden boss Janne Andersson believes that England have the side to win the World Cup and that his team made very few mistakes during their 2-0 quarterfinal loss last night but came against a country who very good in all departments.

The Three Lions cruised to victory thanks to goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli in either halves to reach their first semifinal since 1990 and now will face Croatia in the last four on Saturday, the 11th of July.

“England are absolutely good enough to win the World Cup. They are forceful and well organised. Congratulations to both the team and the coach. They are a good side, who did not give a lot of openings,” Andersson said as quoted by ESPN.

“I don’t think anything went wrong. We faced a good opponent and we did not get to our best level. The margins were small. The first 30 minutes we were under control until the corner and they scored. We then created chances at the start of the second half and if we had scored it would have revived the game,” he added.

Andersson would be vindicated by his side’s performance in the tournament considering he did not select star player Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the squad, with the boss looking for his players to work as a team rather then rely on star individual.
