Russia take on Croatia for a place in the semi-final at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi on Saturday. One particular Russian fan has given added motivation for the host team to go all the way and win the tournament.
The fan in question is 28-year-old Natalya Nemchinova, who has become an international sensation after Russia’s first match against Saudi Arabia.
She can be spotted in Russia’s matches at the World Cup dressed a crop top and a traditional ‘kokoshnik’, with the the host nation’s colours painted on her arms and face.
Dubbed as Russia’s “hottest fan”, there was plenty of frenzy on social media initially when she was identified as a former porn star – going by the aliases as Natali Nemtchinova, Natalia Andreeva, Delilah G, Danica, Amanda, Asya and Annabell – something the Russian denied in an interview.
Also in the interview she has caused considerable stir as she promised to strip naked.
When she was asked by blogger Fyodor Maslov what she could do to help the Russian team ahead of their quarter-final clash with Croatia, the model promised a “beautiful, crazy, sexy” photoshoot with the entire squad if they win the World Cup.
