New Arsenal coach ban phone use on training ground

Unai Emery has introduced himself to the Arsenal team and has got to work implementing rules ahead of the new season. Unai Emery Etxegoien is a Spanish football manager and former player. He is the head coach of Premier League club Arsenal.

The former Paris Saint-Germain boss replaced Arsene Wenger after 22 years this summer, and is keen to get off to a good start in his debut Premier League campaign. On Monday Emery welcomed the Arsenal team back to London Colney, where medical checks took place and the Spaniard addressed the squad for the very first time.

Since then the team have been on the training ground, and already there are stark differences to the way Wenger used to do things. Emery has also limited players using mobile phones at the training ground, and has banned them from using them completely during lunchtime.
