According to reports, Tottenham are still keen to sign Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish who is also rumoured to be keen on a move to Spurs. No official bid has been made, however, Villa are reportedly willing to sell Grealish for around £15-£20 million due to their poor financial situation they find themselves in. They would have previously liked around £30 million.
Grealish started his career with Aston Villa but he did spend some time out on loan at Notts County. During his loan spell with Notts County, he would make 39 appearances, scoring five and assisting seven. Grealish has also played 43 games for Aston Villa’s U23 side. During those 43 games, he scored six and assisted nine.
However, despite being just 22 years of age, Grealish has already racked up an impressive 110 appearances for Aston Villa’s first team. The Englishman has scored nine and assisted 15 in that time. But it was this past season which showed what a top talent Grealish could potentially be.
Grealish missed the start of the 2017/18 Championship season due to injury. However, when he came back he was one of Villa’s best players, scoring three and assisting five in 27 league appearances.
