Ronaldo’s move to Juventus inches closer as Real Madrid star agrees terms

Cristiano Ronaldo is close to sealing a move from Real Madrid to Juventus after agreeing terms with the Serie A champions. Ronaldo has agreed to a four-year contract worth €30m per season, while a transfer fee of €100m is expected to be enough to prize him away from Madrid.

According to Marca, the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, met with Real president Florentino Perez and right-hand man Jose Angel Sanchez on Wednesday evening, to discuss the terms of an exit.

Ronaldo has decided to move to Italy, after Perez and Sanchez failed to touch on a salary increase or new deal for a long time. The 33-year-old is currently on holiday, after Portugal were eliminated from the 2018 World Cup.
