On Monday Liverpool announced the big news: Mohamed Salah has agreed a new five year deal with the club. That contract extension is a reward for an incredible first season at Anfield. Salah scored 44 goals in all competitions.

Yet there is the growing sense that Salah is clearly unhappy right now.
The Liverpool star have dropped several hints on social media in the past few days that everything’s not OK. Out of the blue and without any context, Salah wrote the following in English a few days:
Some might think it’s over but it isn’t over. There needs to be change.
On Thursday Salah popped up with another tweet, which on the face of it seemed to be a nothing-burger about a hat. But many have been quick to spot the book that Salah was holding.
