High-flying England can dare to dream World Cup Victory

Ever since they won the World Cup in 1966, England have been waiting for an encore. But from what we’ve seen so far, 2018 really could be their year!  Having seen off Colombia in the Round of 16, they will meet Sweden in the quarterfinals. We’re not suggesting it’s going to be easy but they’re also not the toughest of opponents you could ask for! And if England win that match, they will be up against the winner of Russia vs Croatia. In other words, England have a pretty easy draw till the final.

They will meet one of France, Brazil, Uruguay or Belgium in the final and that could get mighty tough, but then again, it’s just one match. You never know. They have Harry Kane who has now scored 6 goals at the World Cup. He could finish as top scorer whether England win the cup or not. Colombia were quite physical but England did not give in. They gave it right back to their feisty South American opponents.
