Mathare United will be without Samwel Ndung’u, Abubakar Keya and Andrew Juma when they face Sofapaka in a top of the table clash on Saturday.
“The trio of Samuel Ndung’u (ankle), Abubakar Keya (knee) and Andrew Juma (metatarsal) remain sidelined due to injury, “the club said in a statement.
The Francis Kimanzi coached side will however be boosted by the return of Johnson Omurwa and John Mwangi. Omurwa was suspended for the 1-1 draw against Bandari over the weekend while Mwangi had been sidelined with a bout of Malaria.
The lads stepped up preparation for Sunday’s top of the table clash against second placed Sofapaka on Thursday morning.
