Japanese Footballers Cleaned Their Locker Room & Left A Thank You Note After A Dramatic Defeat

The minute Portugal and Argentina left the glorious football World Cup, a lot of us did not have anything to look forward to, until Japan pulled this stunt. Despite having lost the match, the Japanese team managed to make the internet emotional and give them a standing ovation for their work.

The players cleaned the dressing room and left a ‘thank you’ note in Russian following their devastating defeat to Belgium. Even though the team was in tears on Monday night after they lost to Belgium 3-2 in the 94th minute of the knock-out game, nothing stopped them from following their fundamental code of conduct.

The courtesy wasn’t just extended to the players, but the fans too. Many dejected fans were seen cleaning the statium, filling bin bags with rubbish and everything that was left behind to clear up after the game.
