The have been reports that Fulham are set to sign Newcastle forward Aleksandar Mitrovic on a permanent basis by the end of July. Mitrovic is currently on holiday after Serbia were knocked out of the 2018 World Cup, but a reported fee of £20 million is already said to be in place and the deal will be finalised once the Serbian returns from his holidays.
If Mitrovic does sign for £20 million it will be a record transfer for Fulham. Mitrovic signed for current club Newcastle in 2015 from Belgium side Anderlecht for a fee in the region of £16.65 million.
The forward has made 72 appearances for Newcastle, in which he has scored 17 and assisted 10.
