The Red Devils have already brought in Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred and Porto youngster Diogo Dalot in recent weeks.But it appears Stoke City shot-stopper Lee Grant is the next new arrival expected at Old Trafford.
Highly respected Manchester-based journalist Craig Norwood broke the news this morning, tweeting: “United are set to announce their third signing of the summer transfer window this week. Lee Grant from Stoke City.”
The 35-year-old will be brought in as an experienced backup goalkeeper to No 1 David De Gea.While the likes of Joel Pereira, Dean Henderson and Sam Johnstone are likely to be loaned out once again.
