Gor Mahia boss blames hotel and off pitch issues for draw

Gor Mahia FC head coach Dylan Kerr feels off-field issues, fatigue and bad hotel affected his side in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

The side let go a 2-0 lead and went on to pick a 2-2 draw. He says they were booked in a low quality hotel.

“Yes, we were booked in a hotel which l can say to be good but not good enough for Gor Mahia. It was my decision to move to another hotel which the tournament’s organizers did accept,” Kerr told the official Gor Mahia website.

“There are off-pitch issues but my players are always giving their everything… but unfortunately, if players are tired, there can be mistakes that can cost us a match like we saw today. We have a season from hell but my players have been amazing and will continue to be amazing,” he noted.
