Battle of the blonde bombshells! Javier Hernandez ‘gets the Neymar look’ with new Brazil vs Mexico World Cup hairdo

Neymar may have been the butt of a few jokes due to his World Cup ‘spaghetti’ hairdo, but Javier Hernandez has really thrown down the gauntlet ahead of Mexico’s last-16 clash with Brazil.

Having helped steer Mexico through a tough Group F – and sending Germany home in the progress – Hernandez has let loose with a new peroxide cut for Monday’s meeting with Neymar and the Selecao.

Hernandez sported his new look as Mexico trained at Samara Arena on Sunday, and looked in good spirits for a match that his coach Juan Carlos Osario will be a tough challenge against the best national side at the tournament.

“Brazil is a great team. I would go as far as to say it is the best team in the world,” Osorio told reporters on Sunday.

“Each and every one of their players can control the ball and pass the ball very well. They behave like a unit.

“This will be a great opportunity for Mexican football to face the best team on the planet and we will have to play to our full potential.”

Neymar has developed something of a reputation for simulation during the World Cup finals, with a pub in Brazil even offering free drinks each time the PSG star fell against Serbia.
