Twitter erupts as Lionel Messi-led Argentina bow out of the tournament

In what was one of the most spectacular matches in the history of World Cup knockouts, France sent off Lionel Messi-led Argentina from the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018. The Albiceleste scored 3 goals including Aguero’s late minute header but lost by a single goal deficit to Les Blues who had four goals to their credit, courtesy Kylain Mbappe’s brace. Lionel Messi, who was visibly ineffective in the group stage fixtures, looked impressive today creating more assists and getting more shots on target, but to no avail.
