1) Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has become one of the most sought-after players of the transfer window. Juventus are termed as the favourites to sign him with Miralem Pjanic supposedly on his way to FC Barcelona.
Lazio have demanded €100 million + Rodrigo Bentancur for the sale of Milinkovic-Savic to Turin. An offer which is deemed impossible to agree upon by the Bianconeri. Juventus value the Serbian midfielder at around €70 million.
2) Arsenal are in an advanced stage of negotiations with Sampdoria for the transfer of Lucas Torreira.
It is reported that a £25 million fee has been agreed upon and an official announcement will be made after the World Cup. Torreira starred in Uruguay’s 2-1 win over Portugal last night.
3) Andros Townsend is heading back to Tyneside this summer. Rafa Benitez is all set to sign the English winger for a deal worth £18 million. Townsend is reportedly keen on returning to Newcastle and play under the Spaniard. The Eagles are looking to offload him in order to generate summer funds.
Meanwhile, Townsend is tipped to be Matt Ritchie’s replacement at the club. Ritchie is on his way to Stoke to sign for the Potters in a £15 million deal.
