Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi explains his goal celebration vs England

England have been beaten at the World Cup.After wins over Tunisia and Panama in Russia, Gareth Southgate’s men lost 1-0 to Belgium on Thursday night. Former Man United winger Adnan Januzaj, who is now plying his trade with Real Sociedad, scored the only goal of the game against the Three Lions.

Januzaj, stationed on the right of the penalty box, cut inside on his left-foot and curled a stunner into the far corner of the net. The win meant that Belgium topped the group. The Red Devils will face Japan in the next round. As for England, the defeat means they finished in second spot. The Three Lions will face Colombia in the last-16. After Januzaj scored against England, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi focused attentions.

Batshuayi picked the ball out of the England net, and the striker appeared to want to smash the ball into the crowd to celebrate. But Batshuayi’s goal celebration went horribly wrong. In the end the ball cannoned off the post and back into the striker’s face. Batshuayi made fun of his mistake on social media. The Chelsea striker explained his goal celebration with the following comment: Fortnite celebrations so overrated bro I had to create something new!
