What Russia did to a ‘criminal’ Brazillian World Cup fan

A Russian court official says a Brazilian World Cup fan has been captured in St. Petersburg as part of a deportation request for from Brazil. Daria Lebedeva, a representative for the St. Petersburg city court, said Monday that Rodrigo Vicenti Dinardi was put in custody for two months. Brazil is looking for Dinardi’s removal on charges of armed robbery.

St. Petersburg city police declined to remark, yet a report said Dinardi was confined by Interpol on Friday after Brazil’s triumph over Costa Rica. Lebedeva says Dinardi keeps up his honesty and accepts there has been a misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Russia play Uruguay on Monday as both teams have already qualified for the knockout stages before the game, which will determine who finishes first in Group A.
