Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has decided to pay £70m to land a star Real Madrid midfielder, a report claims.
Both United and their rivals Manchester City have been linked with a move for German international star Toni Kroos. Kroos was the star of the show for Die Mannschaft on Saturday night as he scored an injury time winner to lead his side past Sweden.
According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Mourinho is willing to pay £70m (€80m) to bring Kroos to Old Trafford this summer. Recent reports suggested that both Manchester clubs used Kroos to make ‘secret enquiries’ over €150m-rated Marco Asensio.
