Leaving that issue to one side, it was noticeable how Chelsea’s Hazard talked about Lukaku after the Tunisia game.
Earlier in the tournament, after the Panama game, Hazard accused Lukaku of “hiding”.
However there was no hit of criticism after the Tunisia game, as Hazard waxed lyrical about the Man United forward:
It’s easy to play with a player like him. You pass the ball when he’s in front of you and he scores every time.
He had a fantastic game and scored two goals – that’s what you want.
But it wasn’t all good news for Lukaku on Saturday.
The Man United striker is a major injury doubt to face England in the final group game.
Lukaku was subbed out the game with an ankle injury. It’s unclear whether the striker will recover for Thursday’s match.
