Francis Kahata and Jacques Tuyisenge were both on target as Gor Mahia eased past Ulinzi in a rescheduled round 15 KPL tie played in Nakuru on Saturday afternoon.
The results mean that Gor have garnered 43 points and are nine points ahead of Sofapaka with three games in hand.
Kahata opened the scoring for the reigning champions with an easy tap in after George Odhiambo did all the spade work to set him up in the 12th minute and they managed to hold on to this lead despite constant threats by Ulinzi, who were really undone with poor finishing upfront.
Jacques Tuyisenge doubled the lead with just two minutes to the end of the match, capitalizing on a goal mouth melee to slot in a Boniface Onyango corner kick.
