Liverpool have made an €180 million offer for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio. The Reds have not yet found a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona in January, and they are keen on Madrid star Asensio.
According to reports, the Champions League finalist have tabled a formal bid of €180m for the Spain international. Real Madrid have the offer on the table and will analyse it, but they are expected to turn it down. Asensio is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2023 with a €700m buyout clause, however, Liverpool said to be confident of doing a deal with Real for the signature of the young Spaniard whose talents have seem him play a major role in the club’s success in recent seasons.
