Brazil’s Football Association Chief Involved in a Crazy Fight With a Fan in Russia

Brazil’s World Cup campaign has been shocked by accusations that the president of the South American nation’s Football Association, Antonio Carlos Nunes, has been involved in a fight with a fan in Russia.

Neymar and Co beat Costa Rica on Friday in a high pressure game, especially for Neymar, after they failed to overcome Switzerland in the opening match.

According to a report in Estadi de Sao Paulo, Nunes was involved in an incident on Friday itself, where he threw a glass at a Brazilian supporter’s head.

Further reports confirm that the victim met with a delegation of the Brazilian FA in a restaurant prior to the match against Costa Rica, although the president took offence to some of his comments.

It has been reported by Marca that he called Nunes a scoundrel and hit him on the back which led to the brawl.

The restaurant was closed down immediately after the incident and the Brazilian FA is now considering to send Nunes back home as the FIFA Ethics Committee is likely to take note of this incident in Russia.
