Brazil back to training ahead of group decider

Just a day after Brazil finally got up and running for this summer’s World Cup and they were back at it on the training ground ahead of their group decider against Serbia next week. Tite’s Brazil left it late against Costa Rica on Friday with Philippe Coutinho and Neymar bagging the two goals in stoppage time for the five-time winners, and are now in prime position to top group E.

It almost turned into another frustrating afternoon for Brazil as they were continuously kept out by their opponents in St Petersburg before finally making the breakthrough with the game’s last chances. They got the victory, though, and that’s all that matters and Tite will be quick to put another tough afternoon behind them as they set their sights on the knock-out phases.

With this in mind, the Brazil squad returned to their Sochi training ground in much higher spirits than they did after that Switzerland draw in their opening game. Gabriel Jesus is one who looked surprisingly relaxed during the session as he continues to hunt for his first World Cup goal.
