World Cup 2018: Neymar, Coutinho hand Tite’s men first win

Philippe Coutinho and Neymar Jr. both scored for Brazil, as they defeated a gallant Costa Rica side 2-0 on Friday afternoon. The Selecao came into the game, knowing that they needed maximum points, after drawing their first fixture with Switzerland.

However, it was the Costa Ricans who had the best chance in the opening 45minutes, when Celso Borges flashed an effort wide from 15 yards. With the game looking to end in another draw, Coutinho poked home in the 91st minute. Neymar also tapped in a second, to hand Tite’s men their first win in Russia.
