Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has dedicated Nigeria’s victory to fans who stood by their side through thick and thin. The Super Eagles lost their opening game in the hands of Croatia who beat them 2-0 and redeemed that result with a 2-0 victory over Iceland on Friday. Mikel believes the fans played an important role prior to the game and should be appreciated. The Tianjin TEDA midfielder in appreciation to Super Eagles fans took to his Twitter page to dedicate their victory to the stalwarts who never lost hope in the team despite their poor beginning. “Thank you to all the @NGSuperEagles fans! You carried us through to victory On to the next one! #SoarSuperEagle,” Mikel wrote on Twitter.
