Time boost Belgium ahead of Tunisia tie

Belgium has been handed a major boost after Thomas Vermaelen resumed training ahead of team’s World Cup match against Tunisia

The 32-year-old missed his side’s match against Panama following a hamstring injury he sustained during Barcelona’s 5-4 defeat to Levante in Spanish La Liga on May 13th. Reports from Belgium suggest that defender Vincent Kompany, who picked up a groin injury during Belgium’s friendly match against Portugal on June 2nd, trained alone.

Belgium will face Tunisia in Moscow on Saturday after beating Panama 3-0 in their first World Cup match.
