Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is looking for quality over quantity in the transfer window. Explaining why it is taking long for the club to complete signing, Wilder explained that getting quality players in for the right price will always be difficult and require long negotiation.
“It might be a bit of a slowburner for us. That’s because we’re looking at quality, not quantity, and so deals take a little bit longer to get done. I’m comfortable with that situation, though, because of the group we’ve got here already. Ideally, you always want things to get done quickly. You never quite now when things are going to get done, it’s impossible to predict, but if we don’t get more in for Monday then so be it. We’ll carry on working, no problems,” Wilder said.
