Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho believes Argentina will find it tough beating Croatia when both teams face off at the Stadion Nizhny Novgorod (Nizhniy Novgorod) on Thursday evening. The Portuguese believes that Croatia has one of the best midfields in the international game today.
”Croatia is a team with some talented, experienced players that play in the best clubs in the world. I don’t think in the past years they had enough evolution for the next generation but they still have a group of players especially in that midfield, players that are the best in the world. Argentina is Argentina but I think Croatia has a team capable to give them a difficult match,” Mourinho opined.
The Croats currently lead in Group D with three points and will qualify for the last sixteen with a game to spare if they beat the two-time world champions.
