Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid team-mate declares Never to Speak to him Again

Cristiano Ronaldo made all the headlines in Portugal’s opening match against Spain in an entertaining 3-3 draw.

The Portuguese superstar netted a stunning hat-trick, including a last minute free-kick to earn his country a point.

But in stunning 2010 World Cup champions Spain, he knows he could have bragging rights when he links up with his Real Madrid team-mates next season.

Sergio Ramos, Nacho and Isco all started against Ronaldo and it’s the latter who admits he’ll find it difficult to speak to him after his display.

Isco said: “Don’t talk to me about Cristiano! I’m not going to speak to him again after what he did the other day…

“He doesn’t have a high strike rate, but when he has his day… his first two goals gave him confidence and got him looking for a hat-trick.”

Spain’s No 1 David De Gea, endured a frustrating evening against Portugal and was at fault for Ronaldo’s second as he let the ball slip through his hands.

But Isco is sticking by the Manchester United goalkeeper, claiming he has the support of the whole team.

“He has a great deal of experience, he’s one of the best keepers in the world,” said Isco.

“These things happen and especially to goalkeepers because if a striker makes a mistake it doesn’t matter but if a keeper does, it tends to get magnified.

“I’ve known David for years, he’s happy, focused, feeling confident and he has the support of the whole squad.”

De Gea was back to his best on Wednesday evening as he kept a clean sheet in Spain’s 1-0 win over Iran.

Earlier in the day, Ronaldo added another goal to his tally as Portugal ran out 1-0 winners over Morocco.
