Senegal supporters won hearts with their music and dance as their team stunned eighth-ranked Poland 2-1 in their World Cup 2018 opener on Tuesday.
Their unique rhythm, tireless singing and dancing made everyone stand up and take notice and their team responded with a splendid show at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
Even as it was the song and dance that hogged all the limelight, what they did after the match actually gives the entire world a lesson. Senegalese fans showed how each person’s little effort could make a difference.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, each Senegal supporter can be seen picking up litter from their entire stand and accumulating it at one place so that they leave the stands as clean as they found it. Without any trace of embarrassment over cleaning up the place, the supporters can be seen performing their own cleaning drive.
