Ulinzi Hope to Salvage Season with two Crucial Signings

Ulinzi Stars have completed the signing of immediate former Mathare United striker Elijah Mwanzia in a move that they hope will solve their blunt strikeforce. The military outfit confirmed that the 24 year old had signed a one year deal.

The attacker terminated his contract with Mathare United on Monday 18th June and the Dunston Nyaudo coached side moved with speed to rope in the forward who has seen limited play-time this season.

“We are happy to have him as one of the options. His prowess, especially as a super sub will definitely be crucial for us, and we also hope to benefit from the competition he will inject in the striking department, ” he said.

The Nakuru based side also secured the services of defender Eugene Ochieng from Sony Sugar. Ochieng, an elder brother to goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo, recently completed his military training and will be part of the team for the second leg.
