Southampton are considering a move for Red Bull Salzburg’s highly-rated midfielder Amadou Haidara, Sky Sports News understands.
The 20 year-old Mali international is valued at around £15m and was one of Salzburg’s standout talents last season, scoring eight goals in 55 appearances.
Haidara helped Salzburg win the Austrian Bundesliga by 13 points last season, while also playing a part in their path to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
