Ndidi: We ‘die’ in the game against Iceland

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has stated that the team will fight to their last blood against Iceland in their Group D second game on Friday. The Leicester City Young Player of the Year who just came back from injury made the statement during Super Eagles press conference on Wednesday where he stated that the team’s loss to Croatia is now a thing of history while maintaining that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. “Even though we are players, we are also Nigerians. The loss is behind us, we die there in the next game,” said the midfielder as shared by Super Eagles on their official Twitter account.
