Morgan Schneiderlin is a target for French club Marseille – after being told he can leave by Everton.The 28-year-old struggled at Goodison Park last season, despite initially exciting the Toffees fans following his £22m move from Manchester United in January 2017.
The Belgium international is expected to kick-start a clearout on Merseyside as new manager Marco Silva begins his new era at the club, France Football reports.Schneiderlin was among a number of Everton stars who were disappointing under Sam Allardyce last term and was subsequently dropped.
After returning towards the latter stages of the season his performances picked up, but he is still surplus to requirements under the new boss and has told Schneiderlin to find a new club.
Marseille are interested in bringing the France international back to his home country as they prepare to battle for a top three spot.
