Former Kenyan International to be Appointed as Home Boyz Manager

Kenyan Premier League side, Vihiga United is set to appoint former Kakamega Homeboyz coach Mike Mururi as their new head coach, a source has revealed to us

Mururi is currently coach Edward Manoah’s assistant at Vihiga but he is set to replace the veteran tactician who will then be appointed as club technical director as revealed by a source from United camp.

“The plan has been to have Mururi as head coach and Manoah as technical director. Manoah has been helping Mururi settle in the team, he will take over as the boss in the next few days,” the source disclosed.

Vihiga is currently 13th in the Kenyan Premier League table with 20 points and Mururi will be tasked with moving the county government-sponsored side up the table. United got promoted to the Kenyan Premier League at the end of 2017 season after topping the National Super League (NSL).
