Rio Ferdinand praise England hero Kane

Former England international, Rio Ferdinand has commended the effort of team captain, Harry Kane in the side’s 2-1 win against Tunisia on Monday. The Three Lions needed a late effort from the Tottenham striker to secure all three points after the North Africans had drawn level late in the first half. Ferdinand stated that the win is a huge confident booster for the team and they can now look forward to their next match against Panama with a better mindset.

“Kane took his chances in the game. Roll on to the Panama game – that allows the manager to shake it up. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Marcus Rashford made a difference – then there’s Jamie Vardy. This will breed belief. What they will see is the energy they had in the first half,” Ferdinand said
