Kane: This is what dreams are made of

England captain, Harry Kane has express delight at leading England to victory against Tunisia at their opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Kane scored twice to help England secure a hard fought victory against the North Africans and the striker praised the character of team and their willingness to keep going till the very end.

“It’s what dreams are made of and I’m so proud of the lads. We played really well in the first half and deserved to take the lead. It didn’t look like a penalty for Tunisia but credit to the lads, we kept going, and that’s what it’s all about at a World Cup. We have shown that resilience for a while now and we have got a great bond off the pitch, so it’s nice to see it working on the field. I think there could’ve been a couple of penalties for us, especially when you see the one they were awarded. They tried to stop us running at corners and free-kicks, so maybe that goal at the end was justice. We have done a lot of work on the training field,” Kane said.
