Happy Fathers Day to Super Eagles dads in Russia, meet them

As the world celebrate fathers day which is an event marked to honour fathers and their influence in the society, we will be felicitating with our very own dads in the Super Eagles team who are representing the country in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. While the fans are still fresh will the poor result of the players against Croatia on Saturday, it is conventional to note that the fathers in the team need to be celebrated on this special day. They do deserve some accolades, right? Let’s meet them below:

Mikel Obi

The Super Eagles captain is a proud father who takes every timeout to celebrate his family on social media. He is so fond of his twin daughters, Eva and Mia and of course the mother of his children, Olga Diyachenko.

Victor Moses

The World never knew about Moses’ marital status until the day Chelsea lifted their 2016/17 Premier League title. That day we saw the proud father with his two kids and beautiful wife celebrate with the trophy in a photo session that made headlines in different news publications. The Chelsea man later went down the aisle a few weeks after their victory in a secret wedding.

Odion Ighalo

The ‘Ajegunle’ bred is one of those footballers whose story can inspire even the hopeless. Ighalo is a proud father who is blessed with a beautiful wife and three cute kids. He celebrated his birthday in Russia camp yesterday and going by Rohr’s new rules, we believe he did celebrate with his wife and family who should be with him in camp.

John Ogu

John Ogu reportedly divorced his wife a few years ago and their marriage was blessed with a cute daughter who the footballer celebrated on her birthday a few days ago. The Super Eagles midfielder is a proud father.

Ogenyi Onazi

Nigeria international Ogenyi Onazi and spouse, Sandra Ogunsuy welcomed their first baby in August 2017. The midfielder is currently with the Super Eagles team in Russia competing in the biggest football tournament in the world.

William Troost-Ekong 

The Super Eagles defender is gearing up to the latest entrant in the League of fathers in the Nigerian national team. Ekong’s significant other is currently pregnant with their baby which the footballer revealed on social media.
