Argentina could only manage a draw 1-1 in their opening World Cup game with Iceland but Sergio Aguero has stated that they are not worried. Aguero got the opener for the South Americans and they dominated possession but Iceland quickly responded and were resolute in defense.
“We are not concerned, we know that it is still down to us and there are six points in play. I am happy for the goal but it was important to win and the first game is never easy. These types of teams (Iceland) are strong, they look to defend and playing that way and giving away little space makes it difficult. Then on top of that we didn’t have any luck with the penalty;” Aguero said.
