David de Gea:
The Manchester United’s star goalkeeper with 18 clean sheets has just shown that why he was not relieved by the English Premier League club for a deal with Real Madrid in the previous summer. De Gea was a part of Spain’s U-21 team that won the European Championship in 2011 and 2013. He made his debut for Spain’s senior team in 2014. He is now the rightful successor to Iker Casillas, Spain’s long-term goalkeeper.
Isco:
Real Madrid star Isco announced himself as a real threat after recording a brilliant hat-trick in a 6-1 demolition of Argentina last year. His overall tally has reached 10 goals from 27 international outings. Isco, of course, is not a striker but is likely to occupy one of the wide positions up front.
David Silva:
Coming after lifting the EPL title with Manchester City, David Silva is certainly the player to help the Spanish side. He has been playing international games for Spain since the age of 20 and has over 100 caps. With 35 goals from these outings, David Silva is the fourth highest goalscorer in Spain’s history. He was also part of the squads who won the Euro 2008, 2012 and FIFA World Cup 2010.
