Ronaldo Nazario thinks It’s time for Brazil to win the World Cup again

Brazil’s 16-year wait for a World Cup must come to an end this summer, according to former striker Ronaldo Nazario.

He was the hero of the final the last time the Selecao tasted success in the competition, top scoring in South Korea and Japan in 2002 as they took the title home.

However, he hopes this summer will see the current side take their own place in history, while outlining who the biggest threats to success are.

“It is time for us in Brazil to win a World Cup again,” the Nike ambassador told reporters in Moscow.

“I think that the other favourites will be Germany, who are always strong, and Spain. Argentina and France can also cause problems.”
