Meet the Serbian Barber Trimming People with Messi’s Image

Lionel Messi is no stranger to raising the hairs of football fans as they become entranced by his spellbinding abilities on the football pitch.

And the Argentina maestro is having another effect on the follicles of supporters… yet this time it isn’t anything of his own doing.

Messi is set to be shaved into the head of passionate fans for the upcoming RussiaWorld Cup, after a Serbian barber decided to share his unique and quite remarkable talent with the world.

Mario Hvala, of Novi Sad, Serbia, has been shaving the face of the Barcelona superstar into the back of the head of his clients, with an astounding likeness to the man himself.

Hvala’s work has seen been an instant smash hit on social media, after photos of the final outcome were posted online.

Speaking recently about his mind-blowing work, Hvala revealed just how long it takes to produce his creation, while also admitting he has previously shaved Cristiano Ronaldo into peoples’ hair.

‘The portraits are the most complex when doing the ‘hair tattoos’,’ Hvala told AFP.

‘It takes five to seven hours. When I made Cristiano Ronaldo’s portrait I got many positive comments and people were amazed.’

The Serbian snipper goes about stencilling the image onto the back of the head of the client, before carefully trimming around the different areas in order to create gradient and shading.

The price of the temporary masterpiece puts people back a cool €150, or £132.
