Antoine Griezmann scored twice, as Atletico Madrid defeated Marseille 3-0 to win this year’s Europa League final. Marseille were seeking to win the trophy on home soil, as the match was played in Lyon, after reaching the final thanks to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Red Bull Salzburg.
For Atletico, Diego Simeone was bidding to win the competition for the second time as manager of the LaLiga team.Griezmann gave the Spanish side the lead in the 21st minute, capitalizing on a defensive error to slot past Steve Mandanda. He added his second four minutes after the break, before Gabi netted the third goal in the final moments of the game.

Saul doesn’t even need a second to think, he immediately plays it first time to midfield partner Gabi and he smashes the ball past Steve Mandanda into the corner of the net
