England captain Harry Kane has admitted to his team felling a bit of pressure as they gear up for their World Cup opener against Tunisia in a weeks’s time.
England are grouped with a very good looking Belgium side plus Tunisia and Panama and after a dismal EURO campaign in 2016, the Three Lions are under pressure to put in a good performance this time round.
“We are obviously excited to be here now. We just wanted to get over here and settled to start to prepare for the games ahead, It is a World Cup – there is always going to be pressure, nerves and excitement. For us it is about working hard and training hard until the game, then going out there and having some fun,” said the Tottenham Hotspurs striker.
