RB Leipzig have completed the signing of River Plate left-back Marcelo Sarrachi. The 20-year-old Uruguayan has penned a five-year deal through to summer 2023.
“I’ve followed the club’s progress since they were promoted to the Bundesliga,” Sarrachi explained. “I’ve been impressed with how such a young team has managed to cause such a stir in one of the best leagues in the world. I like the aggressive and attacking style of play.”
Sarrachi, who is a 24-time Uruguay U20 international, made 16 appearances for River Plate in the 2017/18 Primera Division.
