Atletico Madrid are on the verge of confirmed Lemar’s move from Monaco, report Spanish outlet Cadena SER. The Spanish radio station announced that Lemar’s Atletic omove will be confirmed “shortly”.
Cadena SER also claim that Lemar knows what his number will be at Atletico next season: he is inheriting the number 10. Should the Lemar transfer update prove true, the French international will join Antoine Griezmann at the Wanda Metropolitano next season.
For the record, Lemar, 22, is under contract at Monaco until 2020.Lemar’s output declined a little last season in Ligue 1.He only scored three goals and chipped in with 10 assists in 38 matches in all competitions.
